Sunday Funnies 150920

The Sunday Funnies phrase of the week is the end of summer; the beginning of fall:

1. Better Hurry!

In 2015, the autumnal equinox falls on September 23 at 4:21 A.M. (ET).

2. Birds get ready to migrate.

3. Tme to prepare the garden for winter and plant mums...

I know Mother's Day is in May; but in September, it's mums for moms...even the four-legged ones.

4. Is this the summer before the fall?

I believe this qualifies as a Republican cartoonist's pipe dream. The elephant hasn't had a hit in over a decade. In fact, his last score came on a stolen election with a botched call by the umpire.

5. Cold Weather Preparation

For those who don't follow Doonesbury, Rick Redfern is talking to Alice, who is homeless and never gets names right. She is planning to marry a homeless man named Elmont. Alice is quite practical if nothing else.

6. Pride goeth before a fall.

I'm a Mac guy, but I can appreciate the humor in poking fun at folks who give a free pass to buggy technology because they're devoted to the company that foists it on the user.
On a related note, recent reports on the instability of Windows 10 show that Microsoft devotees may be climbing a hill of their own.

7. Coming to A Political Theater Near You this Fall...Reruns!

8. The End Of More Than Summer

This was the fall that felled those two fellows and all of their followers.

9. The Fall Of Life Redefined

10. Free Fall
