3. Pirates take what belongs to others to benefit themselves. They owe allegiance to none but the members of their band.
4. Clearly, we are witnessing an act of piracy by 41 senators to whom party loyalty matters more than the veterans whom they are willing to send off to fight and die, but unwilling to pay or care for when they return home from battle wounded and in need of support.
